Hello all my bloggy friends…I’m seriously slacking on the blogging! The holidays are really putting up a fight this year! Hope this little something will make up for it!!
So I have two wonderful things that I was blessed to get the opportunity to review, and my children to help me review! Both opportunities came to me through Pitch it To Me, which has given me some great opportunities.
Review #1 is of an adorable book called Blooming Buddies, written by Deborah Donner and Wendy Peterson. I love kids books and my kids have about a million and one. It is a beautifully illustrated book, and that is really what my daughter loves about it. She’s two and she listens to me read for sure, but its the pictures in this book that really get her attention. It is just a cute and fun thing for her to look at, with bright colors, which have definitely been a learning opportunity for her. Its a sweet story as well about flower friends. I won’t give too much away, but I can guarantee your little girl will love this book.
I know I’ve discovered a winner when I go to check out their website and you find out that the book has received, not only, the Parent Tested, Parent Approved Seal of Approval for 2010, but also The National Parent Center Seal of Approval.

Review #2, was another great Pitch it To Me opportunity, and this time for my son!!! The Float ‘N Firefly toothbrush by Dr. Fresh. My son is all about teeth brushing and is a member of the “No Cavity” club at our dentist and proudly displays his cute little certificate. So cute. So I received this toothbrush and I love the way it is thicker at the bottom, right off the bat. It is easy for him to hold and manipulate. And even though I’ve never had a problem getting him to brush his teeth, the timer thing is a great feature in a toothbrush for a child. It lights up and the little animal and glitter that float around inside are super fun. He will sit and stare at it in the mirror as he’s brushing. He really enjoys brushing his teeth with this toothbrush, and watching for the light to go off. And for a reasonable price, why not make teeth brushing fun!
