Happy Valentine’s Day Post!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone.  Its the day of love and romance; but when I’m still in my pajamas, no make-up, hair tossed up in a pony, with a little bit of spit-up on my shoulder, feeling romantic isn’t really forefront of my mind.  I also happen to have a hubby who works quite a bit, and like most military wives we’ve had to become creative with our “Romantic-ness” if you know what I mean.  I don’t usually write posts like this, trying to keep things as G/PG-ish as possible, but Valentine’s Day is the perfect day to write about EdenFantasys.  Now I’m a pretty lucky girl.  I’ve got a pretty romantic hubby.  We’ve been together for 13 years.  We started dating in High School when I was weeks shy of 16 and he was 17.  He were married five years later.  Our faith kept us pure those five long years and the hubbs had plenty of time to perfect his romanticness.  He wooed me, that’s for sure!  Before we were married, as one of my wedding presents he actually purchased me some Lingere.  That was easily in the top 10 most romantic things he’s ever done.  I love wearing it, when I remember too.  Lets face it, moms and married couples all face similar problems.  And there isn’t a woman that I’ve talked to that hasn’t experienced this situation.  Its often the joke in movies and tv shows, “Once you have kids you’ll never have time for the “bedroom” ever again.”  Maybe its the kids, maybe its the fact that we’re just busier.  I have friends that don’t have kids that work work work and they get tired too.  The truth of the matter is that your relationship has to be a priority.  You also often here of couples drifting apart when there aren’t any kids to keep them busy.  I know my husband and I try to make date nights important, whether that be out on the town date nights, or buy a pint of specialty ice cream and watch a movie on the couch kinda date night.  Sometimes you need a little more help, sometimes you just might need to spice it up a bit.  I’m not generally a spicey kinda gal.  Sometimes all I need is a little bit of make-up a little bit of sparkle and that’s enough for me!  I love dressing up for my man, doing my hair, putting on his favorite perfume.  That’s enough to spice it up for me.  I personally had no idea what types of things EdenFantasys carried.  Luckily, for the prude me there are so many fun things that they carry like body lotions, and make-up and lip gloss and all sorts of other fun girly things.
