Happy Thursday Ya’ll!  Time for a little jaunt down memory lane to reflect on where you were a year ago today?  Please share and link up.

A year ago today I think we were winding down our time in Reno before the big move.  One of our very favorite places for family outings was Sheels.  Gosh, I miss that place.  It was such a fun, on the cheap place to go for us.  With the big fish tanks, the play area, the Ferris Wheel.  We went at least once a week.  I think this was our last visit before we left our house and moved down to the in-laws.  I can’t believe its been a year since then, and almost a year since we’ve moved here.  Its flown by so quickly.

Happy Thursday Ya’ll!  Welcome back and Welcome Welcome for those that are here for the first time.  This is such a great little link up.  It is so nice to reflect on what you were doing last year, how far you’ve come, and if you’re like me, get all sad and emotional about your babies growing up!

So what were we doing this time last year?  Well we were back up at our house to start the packing ridiculousness, after a nice little vaca in california with our families for Thanksgiving.  But apparently November 29th was Phillip’s first real bath bath (aside from the wiping down).  So of course many pictures were taken and man was he adorable.

I can not tell you how excited I am about this blog hop. It’s not really a new hop; it’s more of a revived hop. Its actually how I met bloggy, turned online friend Heather, over at Mommy Only Has Two Hands.  I learned a lot about cloth diapering and we were pregnant at the same time last year.  She is on my bucket list of bloggy friends to meet in person one of these days.  She used to do a hop called “A Year Ago Today..Thursday”, life happened and it faded away.  But we are in cahoots and I’m so excited.  Going back and looking at how far things have come in a year was always so much fun and I am so happy to bring it to you again.

A year ago today we were in the midst of packing up our house.  We were getting ready to make the move across country, to Virginia.  It had been so many years in the making and now we were finally doing it.  Phillip wasn’t quite a month old, and the thought of packing up the house and then spending our last Thanksgiving and Christmas (in who knows how long) with our families.  It’s crazy how fast time flies.

Brian was, and still is, so in love with Phillip.  We had a little maze and jungle gym of boxes for the kids and Ami was wearing a dress I wore when I was her age. 

Did I tell you how excited I am to have this hop to take part in.  Now I can get all sappy and teary every week looking back.
