We finally were able to check something off our bucket list and attend a Cirque Du Soleil show here in DC! I was so absolutely thrilled for the opportunity to see it AND take the kiddos. This event was also completely designed for families and kids. This was the coolest live show in a long time and I was excited to be able to share that with my children. I could ramble on and on, but sharing the pictures with you will be so much better!!!

OVO is teeming with life. Insects work, play and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy in motion. Their home is filled with biodiversity, beauty, action and moments of quiet emotion. The awestruck insects are extremely curious when a mysterious egg appears, representing the enigma and cycles of their life.

Big Apple Circus – Bringing the Circus Back!!!

We are all so devastated by the news of the Circus leaving! Its a conflicting thing for people I know, but there’s something about it that makes me super sad. But never fear, the amazing Big Apple Circus is here with its amazing show!! Its a beautiful, dazzling and spectacular show that your family will love. You will surely not be disappointed with them. If you’re headed to New York consider stopping in to visit Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center. What is really exciting about this particular performance group is that some of the performers are part of the famous Wallenda family, who most people at least partially recognize in relation to the circus. What a cool historical connected to share with the kids!! Launching in 1977, Big Apple Circus has become known for their community outreach programs and commitment to their community. As with a lot of things that have been around for awhile in the industry, they took a hit in 2016 and filed Bankruptcy. But they were fortunately saved and re-launched in time to celebrate their 40th Anniversary!!

The Harlem Globetrotters are coming to town!!

A town near you to be sure! The Harlem Globetrotters are about to kick off their summer camps for kids. If you are reading this and you’re in the DC area you have three chances to sign up for the clinic. The Globetrotters will be in Falls Church, Annapolis and Vienna in July. Inspired by their world famous shows, these basically clinics take your children on a wild two-hour ride of fun and basketball! Designed for ages 6-12, and taught by actual Globetrotters, kids will learn tricks and moves, as well as play games alongside two of the Globetrotters. What I love about the Globetrotters is that they will also spend time teaching the kids the importance of being a team player on and off the court.

Kids will receive an official clinic certificate, personal Globetrotters nickname and a ticket voucher for their 2014 Great American Tour. The kids will also get a photo/autograph session after their clinic is over.
