MOPS (mother’s of preschoolers ages 0-kindergarten) – while not specifically military focused (although many base chapels host a chapter) this is a wonderful resource for moms.  this is one of the first things I look up when I move to a new location.  This organization is faith-based, but the degree to which they focus on that can vary from group to group.

Operation Purple – deployment, reintegration and after injury – Children can qualify even if their parent is not currently activated or deployed. They also have retreats available to families. *

Military One Source – Both a  friend and I have gone through the process of getting a counselor through them.  They are very helpful.  You will need to give standard identification information but it has all remained completely confidential.

Defending the Blue Line – providing financial assistance and equipment to military children (as well as service members overseas) who want to play hockey.  DBL also works with other organizations and hockey teams to provide hockey camps and special events for military children and their families.

Military Pro Bono Project** – The ABA Military Pro Bono Project accepts case referrals from military attorneys on behalf of junior-enlisted, active-duty military personnel and their families with civil legal problems, and it places these cases with pro bono attorneys where the legal assistance is needed.
