Code of Support – offers case coordination for all aspects of support – legal, medical, financial, mental-health, legal, education/career

PACT Military Animal Fostering – connects service members with reliable volunteer foster families for their beloved bets.
Hearts Apart – provides specially printed photographs of a deploying servicemembers spouse and children. The photos are printed waterproof and durable bi-folded paper.

MOPS (mother’s of preschoolers ages 0-kindergarten) – while not specifically military focused (although many base chapels host a chapter) this is a wonderful resource for moms. this is one of the first things I look up when I move to a new location. This organization is faith-based, but the degree to which they focus on that can vary from group to group.

Operation Purple – deployment, reintegration and after injury – Children can qualify even if their parent is not currently activated or deployed. They also have retreats available to families. *
Military One Source – Both a friend and I have gone through the process of getting a counselor through them. They are very helpful. You will need to give standard identification information but it has all remained completely confidential.
Air Force Resources
Air Force Play Pass – providing activities and distractions for Air Force families, children and single airmen affected by deployment. It isn’t available at all base locations so check and see if its available in your area.
Army Emergency Relief (also available in Iphone and Android App) – tuition and fees for College Scholarships, Emergency Travel, Emergency Funds, Non-receipt of pay as a result of DFAS error, Cranial Helmets, rental vehicles and car repair, , dental care for dependants, home goods

EMarines – readiness information for Marines and their support
Navy Seal Foundation – family services and command support, educational programs and legacy activities
Naval Services FamilyLine – a network of volunteer spouses who mentor, consult and guide fellow spouses
through the Navy life.

Coast Guard Support – provides confidential professional counseling, educational, and referral services
Financial Readiness and Assistance
Financial Assistance w/Military One Source – counseling, budget assistance, tool kit
Military Saves – Financial Readiness for Military Families
SOAR – assists students and parents by providing assessments aligned with state standards, and provides tutorial lessons. It also lists educational resources to help military families.
4-H Military Partnerships – partnering with all branches, including Coast Guard, National Guard and Reserve to bring 4-H to Military youth
Defending the Blue Line – providing financial assistance and equipment to military children (as well as service members overseas) who want to play hockey. DBL also works with other organizations and hockey teams to provide hockey camps and special events for military children and their families.
Pillow Project USA – provides pillows for the children of separated service members (separated for at least 3 months). We own these and love them. I highly recommend this organization.
Daddy’s Deployed – personalized books for children to help them through deployments

Military Pro Bono Project** – The ABA Military Pro Bono Project accepts case referrals from military attorneys on behalf of junior-enlisted, active-duty military personnel and their families with civil legal problems, and it places these cases with pro bono attorneys where the legal assistance is needed.
